The hospital rooms are designed keeping in mind the patient's comfort and German medical protocols. The rooms consist of the latest medical equipment along with comfortable medical beds to ensure high-quality treatment with a comfortable stay. Each room has a separate bathroom, toilet, and shower. The rooms are also provided with TV, telephone and Internet access. Most rooms in the UKE are equipped with a special multimedia device - the patient terminal. You can use it to watch TV, make phone calls, surf the Internet and write emails, listen to the radio and call up patient information from the comfort of your bed. When you are admitted, you will receive an individual PIN with which you can put your patient terminal into operation.

The University Hospital Hamburg-Eppendorf provides individual three meals a day which are strictly based on the diet plan of the patient keeping in mind his ethical and religious values. Guest meals are also available to friends and family members of the patient. Vegetarian and Halal meals are also available on request.
