The University Hospital Freiburg consists of patient rooms that are designed keeping in mind the comfort of the patient and are equipped with essential safety and medical equipment. The standard room includes an automatically adjustable bed, bedside table, wardrobe, chairs for receiving visitors, TV, and Wi-Fi. Each room has a separate bathroom, toilet, and shower.

Inpatient Food Menu

The weekly changing menu offers patients delicious, varied dishes that they can choose from if they do not have to follow a specific diet. The nursing staff at the ward ask the patients about their wishes and pass them on to the kitchen. At some stations, the patient can have breakfast and dinner at the buffet.

Green ladies and gentlemen

“Green ladies and gentlemen” are volunteers who make it easier for the patients to stay in the clinic. They can be recognized by their green coats. The ladies and gentlemen are very familiar with the clinic and accompany the patients on request for their examinations and treatments.
Twice a month, the "Green Ladies and Gentlemen" organize entertaining events such as lectures, films, and game evenings in the clinic.
