The University Hospital Tübingen consists of comfortable single and double patient rooms. The hospital rooms are designed keeping in mind the patient's comfort and German medical protocols. Nearly all the patient's rooms have their own bath and toilet, washing facilities, or a shower. Personal items can be stored in a lockable cabinet or in the bedside table unit. The bedside table is also equipped with a lamp and a "so-called" media panel with a radio and a patient's call button. In many of the university's clinics, the patient can book accommodation in one of the comfort rooms which are equipped with high-quality equipment and comfortable medical beds.

The University Hospital Tübingen provides a weekly changing menu that offers the inpatients a balanced cuisine. If the patient does not have to follow a specific diet, he/she can choose freely between the offers. Guest meals are also available to friends and family members of the patient on request
