Department of Neurology

Department of Neurology at the University Hospital Saarland offers care in the form of diagnosis and treatment for patients with conditions related to the central and peripheral nervous system. Under the guidance of Prof. Dr. med. Klaus Fassbender, the department treats more than 3,000 inpatients every year. The department consists of 62 beds along with highly experienced doctors and staff with state-of-the-art medical equipment to ensure optimal care for patients. The management plan for the patient is made according to their medical condition. It includes treating the primary disease and complications and development of the plan for preventing and reducing the risk factors.
