Department of General Pediatrics and Neonatology at the University Hospital Saarland offers care in the form of diagnosis and treatment for patients within the age of 10-18 years. The department provides service in a family-friendly atmosphere for all diseases concerning children and adolescents.
The department under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Med. Michael Zemlin treats 1,500 inpatients every year. It’s in cooperation with specialized departments as the local Pediatric Cardiology clinic, Pediatric Oncology and Hematology Clinic, Pediatric Neurosurgery clinic and many other pediatric clinics. Highly experienced doctors and staff with state-of-the-art medical equipment ensure optimal care for patients with psychological support.
