Department of Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine at University Hospital RWTH Aachen provides care for infants, children, and adolescents with congenital and acquired diseases. Under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Med. Norbert Wagner, the department treats more than 4,500 inpatients every year, nearly 250 of which suffer from epilepsy. The research unit of the department is known for its successful research reports and it has ongoing projects on pediatric neurology as well as the gastrointestinal tract motility.
