Department of Vascular Surgery at Helios Hospital Berlin-Zehlendorf is concerned with the surgical treatment of patients with diseases affecting the vascular system. The department is certified by the Berlin Southwest Certified Vascular Center as it follows the latest techniques of minimally invasive procedures. Station 22 is a shared unit with the Department of Angiology where patients are cared for before and after surgical procedures. The department is fully equipped with cutting-edge diagnostic and therapeutics for the full range of vascular diseases and also works in cooperation with the Angiology department, Clinic for Phlebology, Institute for Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology, as well as the Diabetes Center.
Under the guidance of Dr. Michael Naundorf, the Department of Vascular Surgery at Helios Hospital Berlin-Zehlendorf specialized in:
- Prevention of stroke in patients with a narrow carotid artery
- Vascular sagging or aneurysms treatment and prevention

- Vascular access for people who are on a dialysis schedule
