Department of Aesthetic and Plastic Surgery at Helios Hospital Berlin-Zehlendorf offers the patients the most modern techniques of plastic surgery and aesthetic interventions as well as complex microsurgical reconstructions. The department works in close cooperation with the Departments of Hand Surgery and Pediatric Hand Surgery. One of the main focuses is the reconstruction of the breast as it’s a competence center for breast reconstruction. The center works closely with the Breast Center of the Clinic of Berlin-Buch, the Breast Center Waldfriede, and the Breast Center in the Sankt Gertrauden Hospital. The department is well-equipped with the latest equipment to ensure the success of modern procedures such as DIEP (Deep Inferior Epigastric Perforator), S-Gap, and SIEA flaps.
