Department of Neurology at University Hospital Regensburg provides care for patients with diseases of the brain, spinal cord, and peripheral nervous system. The department is composed of the Center for General Neurology, Center for Vascular Neurology and Critical Care Medicine, and Center for Neurological Rehabilitation. The facility follows the guidelines of the DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 and has been certified by FOCUS Magazine as one of the best in its field in Germany. Under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Med. Ralf Linker, the medical staff uses state-of-the-art equipment for the diagnosis and treatment of neurological diseases in the special intensive care unit, stroke unit, general wards, and the neurological rehabilitation facility of phases B, C, and D.
