Department of Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine

The Department of Paediatrics and Adolescent Medicine is located at the Schwabing clinic in Munich and it is operated jointly by the Rechts der Isar Hospital and the Schwabing Clinic in Munich. The department is directed by Prof. dr. Stefan Burdach. The healthcare team at the Children's Hospital looks after their pediatric patients with the highest level of competence and technical knowledge. Nearly 60 doctors work closely with therapists, psychologists, midwives and the dedicated team for childcare to provide the patients with most advanced medical care. The Children's Hospital has an emergency department, an intensive care and neonatal intensive care unit, 10 pediatric wards, a children's center and a mother and child ward.
