The Department of Pediatrics offers children and adolescents comprehensive and high-quality medical care. The Department also takes care of a wide range of necessary care and advice during and after the treatment process. The department offers quality patient care against the background of the current state of knowledge and the simultaneous development of this knowledge for future applications. More than 400 employees work 24/7 for this purpose.
The aim of the team’s work is to achieve the best possible treatment results on the basis of the latest diagnostic and therapeutic concepts. At the clinic, all relevant specialties are represented. The clinic has a high international reputation in the areas of bone marrow and stem cell transplantation, tumor, leukemia, blood disorders, immune deficiencies, new and premature babies medicine, diabetes and other hormonal diseases. Other areas of specialization include cardiovascular diseases, gastrointestinal diseases, kidney diseases, and cystic fibrosis.
