Department of Urology and Urologic Oncology at Hannover Medical school has qualified doctors and the latest equipment to ensure optimal care for patients. Based on the latest national and international protocols, the doctors of the department provide optimal treatment of urinary tract infections, tumors, autoimmune and allergic diseases.
Under the guidance of Prof. Dr. med. Markus A. Kuczyk, more than 2,000 inpatients are treated annually in the department of Urology and Urologic Oncology at the MHH. The department has 3 separate centers to guarantee the best treatment. The center for bladder cancer treats over 330 patients annually. Renal cell cancer Center provides care for about 100 patients and the last one is for benign prostatic hyperplasia which treats more than 120 patients a year.
