Breast Center at Hannover Medical School is a specialized facility that offers the diagnosis and treatment of breast diseases. The main focus is breast cancer as it’s certified by the German Cancer Society and the German Society for Senology (breast diseases). The center has also been certified as it follows the standards and guidelines of DIN EN ISO 9001. The facility has the latest, state-of-the-art equipment for the screening, diagnosis, conservative and surgical treatment of the full range of breast conditions.
The service offered is on both an inpatient and outpatient level as it offers outpatient diagnostics such as mammographic or sonographic or MRI-controlled high-speed punch biopsy. The medical team also performs plastic and reconstructive breast surgery.
