Department of Urology at University Medical Center Göttingen is an ultra-modern facility that provides care for patients with diseases of the urinary tract as well as the male genital system. Under the guidance of Director Prof. Dr. Lutz Trojan, the facility uses the cutting-edge DaVinci robot system for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes and also has general wards with a bed capacity of 52 beds where the medical team treats over 2,500 inpatients every year.
The department has been certified by TÜV Süd as it follows the latest guidelines according to DIN ISO 9001:2015 as well as the German Cancer Society as a Prostate Center and the German Continence Society eV as a Continence and Pelvic Floor Center.
