Department of Dermatology, Phlebology, and Allergology at University Hospital Stuttgart is the oldest and largest facility in Germany of its specialty. The department provides the full range of care for patients with diseases of the skin and veins as well as allergic diseases while paying significant attention to oncological diseases. As a part of the Stuttgart Cancer Center (SCC) - Tumor Center Eva Mayr- Stihl, the medical staff has achieved excellent results in the treatment of skin tumors as the entire spectrum of therapeutic options is offered, including chemotherapy, radiation therapy, surgical removal, laser ablation and photodynamic therapy for pre-cancerous neoplasms. The facility follows the latest guidelines and most advanced techniques, such as light therapy methods (UVB, SUP, narrowband UVB, high dose UBA, and PUVA therapy). Under the management of Prof. Dr. med. Peter von den Driesch, leg ulcers are thoroughly managed through special consultation by a wound manager, conservative and surgical therapy.
