Department of Orthopedics at University Hospital Hamburg-Eppendorf provides medical care for adults and children suffering from diseases of the musculoskeletal system. Joint, spine, hand and foot diseases are the main focuses of this department as well as rheumatic diseases and tumors of bone and soft tissue. The department of orthopedics has an outstanding medical team that is known for its experience and successful musculoskeletal operations. The department supplies the team with state-of-the-art diagnostics and therapeutics. With Prof. Dr. med. Friedrich Böttner as the head of the department, the patients are provided care at two sites, the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf and the Bad Bramstedt Clinic.
