The department works in cooperation with the Departments of Gastroenterology, and Pediatric Surgery to offer the full range of diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic measures for all age groups such as percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy, pH monitoring, breath tests, and liver biopsy.
Under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Med. Christoph Hünseler, the medical team of surgeons, physicians, nutritionists, and psychologists offers liver transplantation as well as pre and post-operative care.
