Department of Adult and Pediatric Urology
The department of Adult and Pediatric Urology at the University Hospital Ulm, with its high-precision diagnostics and innovative treatment methods, offers effective treatment of the urogenital system diseases. The department under the guidance of Prof. Dr. med. Christian Bolenz specializes in the conservative and surgical treatment of prostate, bladder, kidney, testicular and penile cancers.
The department works in close cooperation with the Comprehensive Cancer Center Ulm, which contributes to the selection of the optimal treatment strategy. The department is certified by the German Cancer Society and follows strict national and international standards and protocol. The doctors in the department of urology also possess unique knowledge and extensive clinical experience in the treatment of urolithiasis, neuro-urological dysfunction, and other urological diseases in children.
The department treats about 3,500 inpatients and 9,500 outpatients clinical cases of varying severity every year and is ranked among the top medical center in Germany for the treatment of prostate cancer.
