Clinic for Spine Surgery and Scoliosis Center at the Schön Klinik Neustadt provides care for patients with spine injuries and diseases that require surgical intervention. FOCUS Magazine has recognized the center as one of the pioneering spinal surgery institutions in Germany. The department has its focus directed towards accidents, malformations, and wear and tear effects that cause spine damage. The clinic has a medical staff full of experts who work together to develop a management plan perfectly-suitable for the patient's condition. The operating rooms of the clinic are fully equipped with the cutting-edge equipment and procedures are performed along with the latest medical technology standards. The Scoliosis Center treats over 300 patients every year. The center is one of the largest institutes in Germany which is specialized in scoliosis. The center also conducted many research projects on the disease, therapeutic options, and equipment. The clinic is the only provider in Northern Germany that uses ultra-modern ESO technology which is a Nobel-Prize winning diagnostic procedure for diseases such as scoliosis.

- is Chief of Spine Surgery at the Centre for Scoliosis Klinikum, Neustadt, Germany.
- Once elected as one of Germany’s top 50 spine surgeons from a pool of 2,000 candidates across the country by the professional journal of Orthopedic News “Orthopädische Nachrichten,”
- Professor Halm is also deputy chief of the “German Association of Orthopedics and Orthopedic surgery” and an advisory member of the international high ranking journals “European Spine Journal” and “Spine Arthroplasty Society Journal”.
- His publications and teaching activities are innumerable and he works closely with the Neuro-Spinal Hospital to bring patients in the region the latest advancements in the management of spine deformities without the need to travel abroad for treatment.
