Center for Hand, Breast and Plastic Surgery at the Schön Klinik Neustadt provides care for patients with diseases of the hand as well as patients in need of reconstruction surgery. This center aims to restore and improve the lost functions and shape of the external body after a disease, congenital malformation, traumatic injury, or age-related changes. The department has specialists dedicated to hand surgery as the hand is a very complex organ and it takes great skill and experience to perform surgical procedures on it. In the field of breast surgery, interventions for changing the shape, symmetry, or size of the breasts are offered as well as the corrections of defects or scars. As for the plastic surgery field, the department performs procedures that aim towards improving the shape and function of body organs and external features. These procedures are usually performed after trauma surgery.
