Department of Gynecological Endocrinology and Reproductive Medicine

Department of Gynecological Endocrinology and Reproductive Medicine at University Hospital Bonn is one of the 4 facilities and the cornerstone of the Center of Obstetrics and Gynecology of UKB. It offers medical care for women with hormonal imbalance and reproductive system disorders as well as infertility. The department is a pioneering center in the Reproductive Medicine field in Germany.
Under the leadership of Prof. Dr. med. Nicole Sänger, the department treats about 2,000 inpatients annually. The department is operated in close cooperation with the Department of Andrology, the Department of Urology, the Institute of Clinical Chemistry and Pharmacology and the Department of Endocrinology. Some hormonal disorders cause acne and hair loss so there is also a collaboration with the Department of Dermatology.
