Breast Center
The Breast Center at University Hospital Bonn is one of the 4 facilities of the Center for Obstetrics and Gynecology. It is certified by both the German Society of Senology and the German Cancer Society. Under the guidance of Prof. Dr. med. Andree Faridi, gynecologists, radiologists, pathologists, oncologists, radiotherapists, and physiotherapists all work in harmony to provide the optimal care for patients as well as design a tailor-made management plan for each individual patient. The department is in cooperation with the Breast Center of the St. Marien-Hospital Bonn and exchanges medical opinions and expertise to offer the patient the best possible treatment plan. The department has a research team conducting studies on early detection, surgical intervention, radiotherapy and chemotherapy of breast cancer.
The Breast Center at University Hospital Bonn is specialized in the diagnosis and treatment of:
