The Interdisciplinary Oncology Day Treatment Center and the Study Clinic help in the application of the interdisciplinary principle of therapy as they work in close cooperation with the Department of Orthopedics, Oral and Maxillofacial Diseases, as well as the Department of Psychosomatic Medicine and Psychotherapy as blood diseases often harm the patient's mental health.
With Dr. Med. Udo Steigerwald as a manager of the coagulation unit, the medical staff properly treats bleeding disorders in the facility and the recognized Hemophilia Center, one of the centers of the German Hemophilia Society.
