Department of Gynecological Endocrinology and Fertility Disorders at University Hospital Heidelberg provides care for women with diseases affecting the female reproductive organs. The Endometriosis Center is an established facility where patients with different stages of endometriosis are accurately diagnosed, graded, and effectively treated according to their condition.
Under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Med. Thomas Strowitzki, the staff uses the most advanced technology to ensure optimal care for more than 1000 inpatients every year. The department follows the latest guidelines for the management of fertility disorders and its underlying cause by the use of innovative equipment as well as conservative, endoscopic, and surgical techniques.
The Department of Gynecological Endocrinology and Fertility Disorders is specialized in the diagnosis and treatment of:
