Department of Orthopedics, Trauma, and Reconstructive Surgery at University Hospital Halle (Saale) provides care for patients with musculoskeletal diseases or injuries requiring surgeries. The department is recognized as a specialized center for foot, spine and knee surgery. The department consists of an exceptional team of surgeons and medical staff who are highly qualified and have helped the department gain its wonderful reputation. The facility is a member of the Trauma Network Saxony-Anhalt and works in close collaboration with the Department of General and Visceral Surgery, Thoracic Surgery, Neurosurgery, and Radiology.
Under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Med. Karl-Stefan Delank the department treats more than 1,600 inpatients every year. The department is also a well-known center for joint replacement surgery by EndoCert.
Department of Orthopedics, Trauma, and Reconstructive Surgery at University Hospital Halle (Saale) is specialized in the diagnosis and treatment of:
