Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Plastic Surgery

The interventions in the outpatient and inpatient area of the University Hospital Düsseldorf's Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Plastic Surgery cover the entire surgical spectrum of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. The spectrum of interventions that can be performed on an outpatient basis ranges from minor procedures such as tooth extraction, tooth implantation and bone formation in the jaw area to plastic-aesthetic procedures in the facial area.

Smaller interventions in the oral and maxillofacial area are often done on an outpatient basis. Larger, more extensive treatments or interventions in sick, weakened or elderly patients, however, require hospitalization.

The clinic is equipped with the most modern equipment and all employees work hand in hand together. Their aim is to ensure homeliness, safety and better treatment outcomes for their patients. The department has a team of highly qualified doctors, trained nursing staff, medical and technical staff who work round the clock.

Since July 2014, the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery of the University of Düsseldorf has been located in the completely newly constructed ZOM II (Center for Operative Medicine II), which meets the latest medical standards.
