The department of Gynecology and Obstetrics at the university hospital of Ulm has a high national and international reputation in the care of patients as well as in research and teaching.

The department treats the entire spectrum of benign and malignant pediatric and adult gynecological diseases at the highest university level. The obstetrics division of the clinic provides excellent care for more than 3000 births every year. The department also has its own fertility center where they provide extensive approach in the treatment of all kind of fertility problems.

The department has its separate gynecologic oncology center, which with its state-of-the-art technology provide comprehensive diagnostic and treatment to its patients. The main focus of gynecologic oncology center at Ulm university hospital is the treatment of breast and ovarian cancer.
