Department of Adult and Pediatric Trauma, Hand, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery

The Department of Trauma, Hand, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery is the second oldest department for Trauma Surgery in Germany. It was founded in 1973. Since then, the Department of Traumatology has been providing treatment of injuries at the highest level. The clinic is focused on the treatment of complex injuries. With just under 100 beds, the department of Trauma, Hand, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery has a broad operating spectrum. The department includes both outpatient and inpatient care for injuries to the extremities, joints, spine, pelvis, hand and the soft tissues as well as all subsequent conditions of injuries.

The Department of Trauma, Hand, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University hospital of Ulm focuses on the following treatments:
