Department of Child Health and Diseases at OTA & Jinemed Hospital provides care for the full range of diseases affecting newborns, children, and adolescents. The department has gained the "Baby-Friendly Hospital" certificate in 2006 as they monitor the whole process from birth to growth of babies without interruption and with care, especially applying the necessary treatments for children under the age of 16 under a single roof. The facility consists of the Healthy Child Unit and General Pediatrics Unit. The department supports breast milk feeding and also follows the latest guidelines for bottle-feeding of babies who need it. The medical team also offers breastfeeding counseling, infant nutrition, and care training through the “Nursery Class Program”. The full process of routine health screenings and vaccinations are offered as well as the full range of inpatient and outpatient treatments of children under the age of 16.
