Department of Plastic, Hand and Aesthetic Surgery at Ludwig-Maximilian University Hospital provides care for patients with conditions requiring plastic or reconstructive surgery. The department has a research team determinant to keep the department up-to-date with the latest findings in the plastic surgery field.
Under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Med. Riccardo Giunta, the department treats more than 800 inpatients and performs more than 3,000 operations every year. The department has advanced equipment for reconstructive surgeries and it’s being used by 12 highly experienced doctors and experienced workers of the medical staff to ensure optimal care for patients.
