Department of General, Trauma and Reconstructive Surgery at Ludwig-Maximilian University Hospital provides care for patients with acute, chronic, acquired and congenital disorders of the musculoskeletal system, of any severity. There are 2 locations for this department. One is in Großhadern and another is downtown to provide care as fast as possible in accidents.
Under the guidance of Prof. Dr. med. Wolfgang Böcker, excellent qualified doctors and nursing staff practice medicine and treat more than 4,000 inpatients annually with the advanced equipment for both treatment and diagnosis. The department is an Emergency Care Center that’s certified beyond the borders of Munich. 

Department of General, Trauma and Reconstructive Surgery at Ludwig-Maximilian University Hospital specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of:
