Department of Endocrinology, Rheumatology, and Nephrology at Ludwig-Maximilian University Hospital provides advanced treatment and care for patients with hormonal diseases, kidney disorders, and rheumatic diseases. The department is directing a special focus on rare diseases. Patients with such diseases are provided care through both inpatient and outpatient care measures.
 The department has 135 inpatient beds where they treat more than 4,000 inpatients every year under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Med. Martin Reincke. The department consists of highly-experienced doctors and medical staff is along with state-of-the-art equipment to ensure high-quality treatment and innovative medical care for every patient.
