Department of Oncology at Helios Hospital Berlin-Buch provides care for patients with all types of cancerous tumors and malignancies. The department is a significant part of the Cancer Center Berlin-Buch and it works in close cooperation with other departments as well as specialists through this center. As a certified center by the German Cancer Society, the facility offers the full spectrum of therapeutic measures, such as antibody therapy, targeted therapy, complex chemotherapy, and regional deep hyperthermia alongside chemotherapy and radiation therapy. Under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Med. Peter Reichardt, the staff treats over 3,000 inpatients every year, many of which suffer from connective or soft tissue tumors. The medical team works hand in hand with the patients to develop a tailor-made appropriate management plan.
