Department of Orthopedics and Orthopedic Surgery at Helios ENDO-Clinic Hamburg provides the full range of medical care for inpatients and outpatients with diseases of the musculoskeletal system. Thorsten Gehrke, the medical team applies the latest arthroscopic and endoscopic techniques and research findings to ensure optimal care for 7,000 inpatients every year, 2,000 of which suffer from osteoarthritis. The department also offers post-operative rehabilitation, consultations for lifestyle modifications, arthroscopic and open surgery of the shoulder and elbow joints, knee arthroscopy, cartilage surgery, and surgical treatment of the knee ligaments.
