The Department of General, Visceral and Vascular Surgery at Charite university hospital Berlin focuses on the treatment of malignant diseases of the colon, rectum, stomach, liver, pancreas, and esophagus, as well as in the treatment of inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn's disease and colitis). The clinic covers all proven surgical procedures of general and visceral surgery.

Another important focus of our clinic is the treatment of arterial and venous vascular diseases. Both conventional open-surgical and minimally invasive surgical procedures are used. The clinic has modern equipment and stands for the highest vascular surgical expertise. All procedures can be carried out at any time, even in critical emergencies, at the top university level.
