Charite Comprehensive Cancer Center

The Charite Comprehensive Cancer Center (CCCC) is the integrative tumor center of the Charite University Hospital Berlin. The CCCC organizes and coordinates cooperation in the field of tumor medicine among the various Charite centers, the interdisciplinary tumor ambulances, and the Berlin research institutions.

Charite Comprehensive Cancer Center specializes in molecular tumor diagnostics and interdisciplinary therapy. In diagnostic and treating programs the specialists of the Center are using the best technical equipment and numerous clinical trials with new drugs and treatment principles. The Center organizes prevention and early detection of malignant diseases and rehabilitation together with partners in the region.

The Charite Comprehensive Cancer Center provides comprehensive care for cancer patients and their relatives. Interdisciplinary structures and close cooperation integrate the medical treatment, psycho-oncological care, molecular tumor characterization, and clinical research.

Since the CCCC focuses on the comprehensive care of patients with tumors, it also works closely with psychosocial aftercare facilities, self-help organizations, and hospices.
