Department of Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology at Beta clinic Bonn provides care for patients with diseases of the cardiovascular system. One of the main focuses of the department is the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac arrhythmias. The department is equipped with the cutting-edge diagnostics and therapeutics such as remote monitoring, catheter-based treatment, and pacemaker implantation and works in close cooperation with the Department of Cardiology, Angiology, and Pneumology to provide the patient with best treatment plan based on their individual case.
The department has a medical team of specialists that work under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Med. Jörg Otto Schwab in the field of cardiac circulatory disorders and offer cardiac catheterization for the treatment of coronary artery stenosis and work towards the prevention of heart attacks and cardiac infarctions. The department is also certified by the Red Cross as a Chest Pain Center and treats patients on both an outpatient clinic and inpatient basis.
